Good morning, educators!

She shared her heartwarming story about her grade four students becoming learning buddies with grade one students:"My grade four students are working with grade one students as learning buddies to read books, do crafts and play together. This provides the little buddies with a connection to an older student if they feel they need to connect during break times if they are lonely or to solve a problem. They even have a secret handshake they use every time they see each other. It makes me smile every time they work or play together to see the relationship they have formed since the beginning of the year and how much the big buddies care for their little buddies."
