A Real-Life Invisibility Cloak?
Happy Monday awesome educators!
This week, we’re helping you plan ahead for a global celebration of our planet: Earth Day! 🌍 Every April 22nd, the world unites in a resounding call to action, with over 193 countries joining forces to safeguard our planet's invaluable resources and diverse ecosystems.
This year’s theme is “Planet Vs. Plastic," amplifying the urgency to combat this pervasive environmental threat. Did you know that 79% of all the plastic ever made still sits in landfills? Or that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the oceans than there are fish (by weight)? Stats like those are hard to get your head around and for one 16-year-old, a plan to tackle our plastic problems began in the classroom.
The kids in your classrooms will one day be the leaders helping to save the planet and we’d love to hear what inspires them or what they’re doing to make their world a greener and cleaner place. Drop us a line or share a video to [email protected] and we may feature your story in an upcoming newsletter.
Together, let's pave the way for a more sustainable tomorrow. You can also help us pave the way to a more positive future by sharing Goodable in the Classroom with your colleagues. It’ll bring goodness and hope into their classrooms and you can pick up some seriously cool swag - that’s a win-win!👇🏽
