📚 Lesson Plan #14

Oceans, Inclusivity, and the Human Library

Happy Monday Teachers! Get ready to surprise your classroom because we've got something extra special this week. Not only are we bringing you five amazing news stories, but we've unlocked the ultimate classroom companion — our brand-new audio newscast! Every week, we'll feature an audio story recorded by a student (tip: it could be one of yours!). This week's newscast is about the Human Library, a place where you can sign out people instead of just books. The full printable worksheet is included and if you want to jump to the audio, click here (▶️Listen to this inspiring Good news story here🎧)

Next week, we'd love to feature one of your students! So, here's the deal. If you and your students record your own good news update, you could be featured on Goodable! Imagine, your students feeling like the next big thing in news broadcasting. And if you're looking for inspiring news stories to read, download the Goodable App. It's the world's only news app designed to spread joy and happiness through real, verified news.

The best way to do it is to have them choose a story and record it in their own words. If you have any questions, just email us at [email protected] and we'll respond. January just got a whole lot more exciting and we can't wait to see what you and your students come up with!P.S. Don't forget to share Goodable with your colleagues and friends. It really helps us grow and several of you have already earned free swag, gift cards and more!

A special welcome this week to Sandra, Darryl, Marilyn, Kae, Kirsten, Stacey, Todd, Carol, Ida, Amy, Tamara, and the thirty other new Goodable members who joined us this week 🤗
