Are Tomatoes The Solution To The World’s Water Crisis?

A new company has found a way to turn water from tomatoes into clean drinking water, which could help alleviate the water crisis in California. The water is purified using a self-contained unit that fits inside a shipping container, and the clean water can be used for drinking, agriculture, or any other purpose. One factory can create up to 250 million gallons of water in 90 days. The company is hoping to provide clean water to 100 million people by 2025.
